The Oracle Database@Google Cloud offering has expanded to eight Google Cloud regions across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, with new locations in Melbourne, Australia; Montreal, Canada; and Iowa, USA. Oracle has also enhanced disaster recovery capabilities by expanding capacity in Ashburn, Virginia, and London, UK regions. The company plans to bring nine additional regions online within the next 12 months, including locations in Mexico, Australia, Japan, India, Italy, Canada, and Brazil.

Karan Batta, Senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, emphasized that “organizations across the world are adopting Oracle Database@Google Cloud for their critical workloads and AI-driven innovations.” The expansion includes the general availability of Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure and Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse, providing enterprises with powerful new tools for data management and artificial intelligence applications.

The general availability of Oracle Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure represents a significant advancement in database performance and scalability.
